If it’s wrong then as they say – don’t shoot the messenger! Ski areas don’t always get it right, but let’s be fair - weather and snow conditions in this country change insanely quickly. The point then is, always assess the weather and road conditions yourself before setting off for the day. Check road conditions at sites like AA Road Watch, and of course check the weather.
